Equipment used in circuit training and personal training

Sweat and Smile Personal Training uses a variety of equipment both in circuit classes and individual sessions. Below is a list of what we use and what we use it for. Though Sweat and Smile Personal Training is happy to give basic ideas and advice i am sure you would agree it would be silly for us to give all our secrets away, everything we use we also sell.

THIS PAGE WILL BE UP DATED SOON AS I AM SURE YOU ARE AWARE THERE IS PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM

Gym Sticks
Foam Roller for SMR (see the page on SMR)

KettleBells: These are often made of cast iron. Due to there size they are ideal for many exercises, ranging from a KB swing through shoulder press. Why not come along to circuits or ask for a master class where you can learn many execises.

Bowflex Dumbells. These are used for all sorts of exercises ranging from bicep curls to fly and chest press whilst lying on a ball. The ones i use have a weight range from 2k - 24kg each side.

Boxing Gloves just like the title says they are used for boxing and something that is called rematch - 10 weeks of personal training based around boxing. I use the course and skills that i learnt whilst working for a major gym chain. it burns a massive amount or calories, improves stamina, strength, power, speed and agility. In fact 90% of my lady clients love.

Football Ladder
Chairs
Mats
Fit Ball: Core muscles get a better workout as it provides a unstable surface.
Core Board and core discs: Both provide a unstable surface that works the core muscles often without you knowing
Dyno Bands
Medicine ball. We use double handled ones as they offer much more for your money than those with no handles

Weighted bars; These are 5/6 feet long and weigh 12lb, we used them from many exercises, but i love them in sessions where we do deadlift or the clean and snatch just to get people used to the movement before going onto heavy weights.
